Cancer touches too many families and friends. Unfortunately, it touched the Gray family this past January. Richard was diagnosed with lung cancer which was surprising to Abby and Richard because Richard had never smoked. They came to learn that over 20% of lung cancer diagnoses are for people who have never smoked. Fortunately, Abby and Richard were matched with Dr. Hugh Auchincloss and a dynamic cancer care team at Mass General Cancer Center. Richard’s tumor was successfully removed with robotic surgery.
Abby and Richard are passionate about raising money to support the incredible research efforts of Dr. Auchincloss and his colleagues at the MGH Cancer Center.
